Total spend on Orthotics in 2024 was £5529 using fundraising. Oakley will continue to need replacement orthotics as he grows beyond the adjustable range and for different needs as he develops.
2025 needs looks to be similar to 2024, AFOs have been lasting 5-6 months , spine brace lasting around 6months+. His latest AFOs should last longer.
We completed the above bar the specialist tricycle with a range of help from close and extended family, friends, colleagues and contacts and other generous donors. Check out the blog The standard WAV vehicle we selected works so well for Oakley, required a deposit of 11k, and we have it for four years.
