July 2024 – 2nd trip to Italy to it’s nation’s world-renowned specialist facility: Progettiamo Autonomia (Literal translation ‘we plan autonomy’). Family made changes to fund another trip (costs not shown on here) and thank you to my brother funding Oakley’s Ankle-Foot-Orthotics since shown as an offline donation via Tree of Hope ~£1k). Oakley did well in the heat, coped with the long appointments again, sampled the local architecture, food, and a certain nearby car and F1 works team!
This followed up from a winter trip Jan ’24 for Oakley’s first pair of AFO’s from PA. Whilst they only last around 6months at this stage of growth they proved invaluable to Oakley’s progress in physio. Highly specialised we hadn’t found anyone in UK at this point in time doing such AFOs
